The unit had already been completely emptied. Except for the guards who worked in the building, there was not a single soul in the office besides Amaro and you.

On any other occasion, it would have been disastrous, because they got along terribly. They were already similar to each other that they couldn't help but collide often. However, that very thing led them to end up there. The two became obsessed with the case they were working on and were just as desperate to find the culprit. That's why they stayed up late.

Olivia had told them to go home when everyone else started to withdraw, and although they told her that they would, they couldn't. There was a guy out there who was hurting the girls, and they didn't even have a suspect. They had to do everything possible to know the identity of that wretch, but it was difficult.

Nick had taken off his jacket a long time ago, he had the sleeves of his shirt up to his elbows and his hair ruffled, there was a lot of papers sprinkled everywhere and the evidence board scratched everywhere. You could see the tiredness and frustration in his eyes.

They had been drinking coffee everywhere at night so as not to fall asleep, and when that stopped having much effect, they switched to alcohol. They started with a drink, then another, and although they hadn't gotten drunk, they weren't so far from getting there.
