MIGUEL GALLARDO ROMANTIC MUSIC Miguel Gallardo is a highly successful Spanish singer-songwriter, musician, and producer who rose to fame in the 1970s. Born in Granada and based in Barcelona, ​​he signed with EMI, releasing two singles under the name Eddy Gallardo in 1970 and 1971. Two years later, he released new albums under the name Miguel Gallardo, featuring songs like "Recordando a Glenn" and "Quédate." His big break came in 1976 with the ballad "Hoy tengo ganas de ti," which sold a huge number of copies and opened doors to Latin American markets, where he found success with other songs such as "Otro ocupa mi lugar," "Gorrión," and "Saldré a buscar el amor." Miguel Gallardo's youthful image was that of a modern heartthrob, and his romantic songs made him an idol for young Spanish women. He has produced artists such as Azúcar Moreno, Los del Rio, and Sergio Dalma. He recorded 14 studio albums, 71 singles, and 39 compilation albums of his greatest hits.
