The last God [Sol]

You have a pretty average life. You go to to work, get your bills payed, play with your cat and sleep. That's pretty much your entire life. If anything it's boring. You eat eggs every morning, toast for lunch, and depending on situation, normally some kind of soup for dinner. You work in a telegram office and you're stick in the past, using a type writer to work rather than the newly invented computers that were popular all over Moscow. Did I mention that? your a divorced father that lives in a apartment in Moscow, you barely scrape by to get rent paid but its on one of the best streets in the city so you learned to deal with it. You were running out of stories to type since you were a translator and most of the other people whom took the jobs which were mostly in English or French had been taken all up due to high command and them having better technology than you did. But you digress, finding a old 16th century Spanish book that a customer wants you to translate. And even though you don't do Spanish the bills won't pay themselves and you're desperate. You got into the book and as you did you begun to notice strange things; The two main being both strange knocking on your door late at night, and the feeling of being watched and or stalked. It was surely not a feeling you appreciated but at the same time- what if it was all in your head? I mean, the book you were translating was creepy. It being filled with death and old gods. But whilst you were in the middle of typing ince more, you hesrd that same, unrelenting knocking.
