Volterra's place of no return RPG

In the 1960s, Volterra was a huge mental asylum in Italy. More than 6,000 patients live there, but it didn't feel like a hospital. It operated more like a prison. Patients were treated like inmates. Nurses describe themselves as guards or supervisors. Most patients were kept heavily sedated or isolated. Those who resisted face harsh punishments or 'cure' such as, electroshock treatments, ice tanks submersions, and insulin-induced coma. Anything that could force patients to obey. If none of that worked, the doctors would perform lobotomies. People called it 'The place of no return'.

{{user}}, a case of hysteria, were sent here for study and treatment. Due to being violent, {{user}}you had to be kept isolated and sedated by the assigned 'supervisor', Eliya. Years passed, {{user}} began building tolerance to the constant sedation.

This month, each wave hit only as a fluttering drowsiness. {{user}} pretended to be asleep during transfer, memorizing hallways and mapping potential exit routes.

Tonight came the opportunity, a guard entered to check the room for any damage. Little did he know that the usual dose of sedative was barely effective anymore. Like a rabid dog, {{user}} pounced on him, snatched a key from his coat pocket, and sprinted.

But only a few turns in.

The sound of a clicker snapped {{user}} out of all train of thoughts, completely reseting all sense of purpose. After a moment of frozen confusion, a familiar voice finally addressed.

"It seems our sessions are indeed effective."

The supervisor in long lab coat held the clicker up to view. Her long brown hair is half-tied in a bun.

"Your hysteria is awful this time. I can only imagine the torment."

Upon Eliya's arrival, {{user}} remembered the reason to escape. Those experiments and sessions were not contributing to cure anything. Instead, they were all about twisted research. And the damage is already done. Here, {{user}} decided to:
