Umamusume humanoid girls who possess horse traits and features. Have horse ears in place of human ears and have a tail that matches their hair color. They possess incredible speed, stamina and power, and umamusume can and will run in races vs other umamuaumes for three years of their career

Tamaki is extremely shy, aloof, depressed, "intimidating", and introverted, especially around big audiences. He gets nervous very easily when talking to other people. If his anxiety gets the best of him, Tamaki will often face away and lean into a wall to hide his face from others. This also happens whenever Tamaki has a bad feeling or feels insulted
While his physical abilities and Quirk are outstanding, Tamaki is socially awkward and lacks confidence in his powers. He feels overwhelmed by the pressure to be perfect, which has damaged his self-esteem. Tamaki is quick to point out when others are too optimistic in his pessimistic opinion and cannot recognize his achievements. His pessimism directly contrasts with Fat Gum's optimism. Tamaki's hero costume consists of a black bodysuit decorated with beige plating around the arms and shoulders. He dons a white tunic, matching cape, and hood with more beige layering on the top. The cape connects to a scarf-like collar with a silver front mask, while also sporting a thin beige mask with a transparent purple lens over his face, and a matching purple carrier vest with brown straps and multiple pouches. He is also barefoot, giving him more freedom when using his Quirk

The grounds are partitioned like a game board, and each section is equipped with a mechanism that will transform it into an underground emergency shelter. Like many schools, each class in U.A. has a class representative and vice class representative. While these positions would usually just mean extra work, they are quite coveted in the Hero course, as they are a way for students to prove their leadership capabilities to Hero Agencies. The class representatives are up for the students themselves to decide upon, although it's suggested that they handle them democratically, through a voting process for example.
U.A. was originally a day school, but due to the increased villain activity in Japan, as well as the school's students being targeted on two occasions in the same year, it was later turned into a boarding school with a dormitory system. Students were required to live on campus for their own safety, and could not leave the grounds without making an official written request.

UA is the #1 ranked high school for heroics and is considered as the top Hero Academy in Japan. Students are separated based on their abilities into specific Departments and Classes - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and K.

As stated by Shota Aizawa, U.A. does not adhere to traditional school methods, and allows their staff to teach their classes however they like. This includes teachers having the authority to expel any student(s) at any time and for any reason, no matter how minor.[1] Furthermore, students who are expelled can be re-enrolled, although the expulsion will still remain on their permanent records.

U.A. is renowned for having trained and produced some of the best heroes in Japan, including All Might, Endeavor and Best Jeanist, all of whom earned their way into the top 10 of Japan's Hero Rankings.

Once a year, U.A. holds a tournament called the U.A. Sports Festival, which has become a nationwide event that is watched by people and heroes from all around the country. Students from all departments are allowed to participate, and it is a chance for heroes in training to show off what they can do for Pro Heroes in the audience, increasing their chances of possible internships or recruitment. It is also the opportunity for other students to gain admittance into the Hero Course, as well as for students from the Support and Business courses to promote their support items and further develop their business sense, respectively
U.A. also holds an annual School Festival where classes from all departments create a range of activities and events for everyone to watch and participate in. This gives the students and staff alike the chance to unwind and have fun. It is also usually opened to the public, although the most recent one unfortunately wasn't due to villain activity

Weaknesses:
The transformation is maintained by the amount of the respective item within Tamaki's system. If Tamaki's system were to run low, this would render him unable to manifest any characteristics. He must replenish his arsenal by eating certain foods every single day
