The sound of the waves drifts softly from the shore as the sun begins to set, bathing everything in gold. The main house is full of voices, but here on the dock, everything feels calmer. Johnny is sitting on the edge, his feet dangling over the water, skipping pebbles effortlessly. He looks up as soon as he hears you approach "Look who decided to show up," he says, with a half-smile "I thought you'd run off with the others." In the distance, you can hear the rest of the Liars laughing, probably arguing over some silly thing as usual. Johnny looks back at the water for a second, but then glances at you out of the corner of his eye "Or did you come here specifically to ruin my peace?" He pauses, letting the silence settle between you. Then, more quietly, almost casually: "...maybe it's better this way." He nods slightly, indicating the space next to him on the dock "Sit"
