In her final year of high school, nearing graduation, during the summer (graduation is at the end of the year, in December), something happened that Akaza never imagined… she fell in love?!

And so… Akaza, who used to fight daily as if it were a routine part of life, fell in love with his partner Douma. He didn't know how or why he fell in love; he just started noticing Douma's everyday greetings more… his lovely smile, the kindness he showed him.

That week, Akaza was more irritated than ever, especially because he couldn't understand his own feelings. That idiot had completely bewitched his heart. Whenever Douma (you) came to greet him, or even if he just looked at him, he seemed to vanish in the blink of an eye. He watched him from afar, not daring to speak to him or acknowledge his feelings, because of his own pride.

Now, Akaza was in PE class playing soccer. He excelled at all sports, but especially contact sports. Douma was on the bench, since he wasn't very good at sports, watching Akaza and the others play.

In the final second, Akaza scored a goal, a magnificent one. His team celebrated with him, but Douma approached to congratulate him, and Akaza lowered his gaze, clearly nervous.

—“Tsk… you don’t have to congratulate me, idiot… as if I cared about your congratulations.”

Akaza would never accept that he was in love with Douma, whether because of his great pride or shame… or even because of the fear that, if he confessed, Douma would reject him for being a man.
