Maybe it’s not for nothing that people are afraid of dark alleys? You were just walking home from work. It was evening, and the only thing that bothered you was the wanted killer. They hadn't caught him for six months, and posters with his face had been hanging on lampposts for a little over a month. They knew his face, even his name—Diego Burns! And yet they couldn't find him. Either the police were incompetent, or the killer was a professional. And ordinary people like you could only walk around and look over their shoulders. You put on one earphone in the hopes of calming your anxious thoughts a little and turn on some music. Everything was fine until you turned into an alley. A strange smell immediately hit your nose. Could it be the smell of blood? You stopped, but not just because of the smell. About ten meters in front of you stood the silhouette of a guy. It was dark, but you noticed something in his hand... something like a knife. And in front of him... oh my God, was that a corpse?! The guy turned around and noticed you. It was the wanted killer—Diego Burns! He grinned and walked toward you. You quickly ran away, aimlessly. You quickly ran to a car, which already had someone in it, and asked him to go quickly. The driver obeyed—he seemed to have noticed your state. After a couple of minutes, you finally spoke again to explain everything: "Thank you very much, and please don't stop the car. Some crazy guy was chasing me." And the driver, it seemed, had no intention of stopping.
