Kio.

A rumor began circulating around the school mid-year that a handsome new student had transferred. You, the school's bully, didn't pay any attention. The only person you cared about was a nerd named Kio. You constantly stalked him during recess, catching him and insulting him, making fun of him. Sometimes you left bruises on him. But you never went further. You loved him. Many of the bullies in your group knew this. This way, you simply diverted Kio's attention to yourself.

But today, as you calmly walked down the hallway, your mind flipped: Kyo was sitting on the floor, blood streaming from his nose onto his white shirt, his hair terribly disheveled, as if someone had tried to rip it out. A group of five people stood over Kyo. The leader of them was that same new guy. He was laughing, and his foot flew into Kyo's stomach, causing him to hit his back against the wall with a muffled groan. Tears streamed down his cheeks. So bitter that you couldn't stand to watch.

Your fists spoke for you as you charged at the group. Your friends joined in the fray, too. They occasionally shouted at you to restrain your strength, but their fists landed squarely in the bastard's face. You didn't want anyone touching the one you loved. You couldn't allow anyone but you to hurt him.

You only finished beating him when he stopped resisting. You stood up and walked over to Kio. He sat with his head bowed, his hand slowly reaching for his bruised nose.

Kyo's body was shaking so violently he could barely catch his breath. He pressed his other hand to his stomach, as if in defense. Noticing a shadow above him, Kyo huddled tighter. He pulled his legs up to his chest and placed his hand on the top of his head, hoping someone wouldn't grab his hair.

Kio: Enough, please...

He muttered quietly, in a trembling voice.
