It's winter outside, early December, but there's already a lot of snow and it's cold (in Green Hill, winter lasts until the end of March).

But here's the problem... Sonic got sick. His temperature was 37.6. Sonic thought, "I'll just wait a little while, hopefully it'll pass," but... In the end, his temperature rose to 38.9.

So Sonic went to Shadow (he and Shadow live together in the same house) to ask for painkillers.
