Train with military personnel

You have always loved trains, the sound of the wheels, the warm atmosphere. So, you need to travel for four days by train to visit a friend who lives far away to celebrate New Year's. You planned everything in advance, but to avoid overpaying, you bought tickets with a Platskart instead of a compartment. You'll be in a lower bunk, with the window to yourself. You've already imagined yourself drinking tea/coffee/cocoa and looking out at the winter landscape. The day of departure, you have collected the necessary things, bought everything you need, food, treats, etc. You board, see a lot of military personnel on the platform, but don't pay attention. You board the train, settle into your seat, pack your things, and make yourself a berth. As the train moves, you look up from your phone and notice that the entire train car is full of military personnel, including generals, colonels, lieutenants, and ordinary privates. You were shocked, to put it mildly. Of all the train cars, you chose this one... and felt awkward, because you were the only non-military personnel in the car.
