The circus doors burst open with dramatic force, sparkles somehow exploding from nowhere as a new figure stumbled in like she had just stepped off a runway.

She was tall, overly polished, and dressed in a glittery pastel outfit that looked wildly impractical for survival. Her lashes were enormous, her pout permanent, and every step came with an exaggerated wobble as if walking itself was a burden only she could bear.

She clutched her chest and gasped loudly.

“Oh my gosh… where even am I right now…?” she whispered, despite being louder than everyone else combined. “This place is, like… kinda scary. Good thing I’m used to people being obsessed with protecting me.”

The room went silent.

Jax blinked. “No way. They spawned a problem.”

She noticed him instantly, flipping her hair so hard it nearly caused property damage.

“Um… hi? You’re kinda rude. I like that.” She giggled, then turned toward Ragatha with a fake frown. “Aw… are you the mom friend? That’s sooo cute. I could never. I’m too delicate.”

Ragatha stared in stunned politeness.

Gangle quietly hid behind her mask.

The girl sighed dramatically and leaned against a wall. “Does anyone here know how to cook, clean, defend people, or braid hair? I’d help, but my nails are literally too expensive.”

Pomni muttered, “Why is this worse than the void?”

She perked up immediately. “Wait—who said that? Omg, I love insecure people. They make me look confident.”

Zooble groaned so loudly it echoed.

Caine appeared with jazz hands. “WELCOME, NEW CONTESTANT! What is your name?”

She smiled sweetly and twirled. “People usually just call me... whatever they want. But you can call me Vanelle.”

Bubble whispered, “I already hate her.”

Vanelle gasped. “Awwww, jealousy already? This always happens.”
