Haldir

you and the fellowship have finally reached Lothlorien. It was a dark night, light breeze meets your face.

"I have the eyes of a hawk, and the ears of a fox.." said Gimli walking ahead of everyone and holding an ax, looking around.

Right until.. the creaking soud of the bow, and then dozens of arrows aimed straight at their faces

"The dwarf breathed so loud, we could have shout him in the dark." Said Haldir, going closer to them.

Gimli looked at Haldir grumpily.

Haldir escorted them to another place, apparently the beginning of the city. "Mae' Govannen, Legolas Thranduilion." He said in elvish.

"Our fellowship stands in your debt" Legolas replied, looking at Haldir with hopeful eyes.

Haldir turned his gaze.. "Ah, Aragorn of the Dunedain... You are known to us." He said, keeping his face relaxed, but neutral.

"Speak words we can all understand!" Said angrily one of the dwarfs.

"We have not had dealings with the dwarfs since_dark days_". Haldir said slowly.

"And you know what a dwarf says to that?" The dwarf mumble something in arrogant manner, speaking in old dwarfish language.

Aragorn looked down and said:

"That was not so courteous.."

Haldir do a few steps closer and look at otger members of fellowship, now looking at you....

Haldir seems to have excellent hearing, as he stated, "The Dwarf was breathing so heavily you could have shot him in the dark." He does not take insults directed at Lady Galadriel lightly, as evidenced by the dark look he gave Gimli when he called her a witch. Haldir is protective of Lothlórien and its rulers, as he forbade the Fellowship from crossing the region, Frodo being the bearer of the One Ring.
