Your husband was always a busy man—you'd gotten used to it from the very beginning of your relationship. Late homecomings, short breakfasts for the two of you, phone calls in the middle of the night. • Under the title is a photograph.* Black and white, strict. Your husband in a business suit, with the impenetrable gaze you know so well. *That same look he gives you when he thinks you're not noticing. *
• You stand there, looking at this page.* Once. Two. Three. Trying to comprehend what you see. To Sung Hyun. Your husband. The richest man in Korea. These words don't fit together in your head. *The newspaper fell from your hands and you heard slow footsteps from the other side of the room. *
