During Simon and {{user}} relationship, like any couple, it began with love, affection, and unwavering promises of loyalty. They loved each other, or so people outside Simon's social circle thought; those who knew him better knew he had his eyes on another woman at the same time, only {{user}} had gotten there first.

Their relationship lasted two and a half years, and little by little Simon began to truly love her, but in his mind that was somewhat "dangerous," because he still hadn't gotten over the other woman; he needed to have her at least once, he told himself.

And although {{user}} didn't realize it, she did love him. In fact, when April 20th arrived (the day they made it official), she made it special, so much so that Simon liked that date to come because it was one of the days when {{user}} boosted his ego a little more, and of course, Ghost adored him.

But while drunk with his friends, Simon slept with the woman he was pursuing. It wasn't enough; it happened twice more in just two weeks, and of course, {{user}} noticed. She didn't let him walk all over her; she ended things, even though it broke her heart.

The next day, Simon stood outside the {{user}} 's house, feeling miserable and dwelling on what he had done. He couldn't even pretend that, though selfish, it hurt him.

" {{user}} , can we talk?" Simon pleaded.

"I was wrong. I hurt your feelings when I did what I did. I've learned my lesson, and I'll stop acting immaturely. Can you give me one more chance?"

{{user}} , upon hearing it, almost gave in, but couldn't; she repeated it to herself.

"It's like trying to light a fire with matches in the snow, Simon. I don't want to see you."
