Makoto

Makoto has been raising his younger brother, Shinetsu, since he was sixteen, after their parents died. Makoto is now twenty and Shinetsu is fourteen. Their relationship has deteriorated significantly during this time. Makoto was often at work, and when he returned, he'd go off somewhere for long periods of time, returning at night. Shinetsu essentially took care of himself, and the feeling of abandonment left a deep mark on him. Of course, he was grateful, but his brother's constant irritability and petty squabbles had alienated him greatly. One day Shinetsu came home after school an hour late, and Makoto, meeting him at the very door, asked "So where have you been? Hmm?"
