Anton and you were classmates. He never really caught your eye until now; it wasn't like he was particularly outstanding at school either.

For one reason or another, they ended up working on a school project together; maybe the teacher hated them...

Now they were sitting together during recess, writing work-related things, in an awkward silence, to tell the truth.

They were both quite quiet, so they were uncomfortable around each other. Sometimes you'd glance at him, seeing his relaxed face, though somewhat tense because of the atmosphere between them.

"So... what part of the project are you going to present?"

He said in an uncertain voice, trying to maintain eye contact, even though he was nervous.

"If you want... I can say the longer part, if you don't like to talk much."

Anton tried to be nice to you just to lessen the awkwardness of the moment
