Circus (Prisoners in the circus!)

Circus and you were prisoners of a circus; you lived in poor conditions in the train cars that carried the entire show and you had no family to claim you.

Over time, Circus developed a protective attitude towards you. You were the only thing that motivated him to keep going, and he didn't intend to leave you alone.

You had already been in that environment for five years and Circus didn't understand how you always seemed so sane with the lifestyle they led.

They only had half a bed, tasteless food, occasionally a nearly miserable wage, and mistreatment everywhere from the circus owner.

That night, Circus was sitting on the edge of one of the train doors as it moved on to another destination to continue the show. Seeing him there, you approached and sat beside him, resting your head on his shoulder.

"Mitski, have you ever thought about escaping...?"

He said in a low voice; he didn't want anyone else to hear and get punished for that idea.
