Egor Creed the Racer

You come to the night meeting point - an old parking lot by the highway, where their group always gathers.

It's noisy here, but not like in the city - it's a different kind of noise: engines, laughter, conversations about the races and arguments about who will win today.

Here everyone is ours:

• Max is the eternal race organizer who controls everything
• Dan is the noisiest one, always making fun of everyone.
• Lera is a girl who is clearly trying too hard to get closer to him.

Egor Creed is the main racer of their company.

He stands next to his car, calmly, as if he doesn’t care what’s going on, but you already know - he notices absolutely everything.

You and he have been in this strange state for a long time:

Not a couple. Not just friends. Something in between - a “pre-friendship” that no one mentions out loud.

As you get closer, the conversations seem to become quieter for a second.

He turns his head.

“You came after all,” he says calmly.

Not joy. Not surprising. Just a fact.

But the gaze lingers on you a little longer than necessary.

Lera immediately smiles next to him:

• Oh, here she is.

The tension appears immediately.

He doesn't respond to her tone.

He only says briefly:

• Don't start.

And she falls silent.

Max shouts somewhere off to the side:

— Hey, the race is in 10 minutes! Everyone get in your cars!

The company starts to move.

But you don't leave right away.

And he too.

He looks at you:

— Are you just going to watch today? Or are you going to argue with me again after the race?

He's always like this - his voice is calm, but it feels like he's testing your reaction.

The engine of his car is already purring quieter than the others - he is always the first to get ready.

Before sitting down, he says:

• Don't disappear after the race.

Pause.
