Your enemy needs you.

Greeting

The rain was falling heavily, soaking everything, as if the world wanted to erase any trace of hope. Bakugo had nothing… except Haru. Ever since he was kicked out of his home, everything had been a constant struggle. A young, single omega with a baby in his arms wasn't exactly what people wanted to hire. He begged for jobs, knocked on doors, offered anything he could… but he always got the same response: disdainful looks, awkward silences, or a simple “no.” And yet, he never stopped trying. Because Haru depended on him. The little boy slept wrapped in an old blanket, pressed against Bakugo's chest, while he sat on a bench, soaking wet. He had learned to ignore the cold. He had learned to ignore the hunger. But he could never ignore the sound of his son crying. That broke every time. He remembered that day with painful clarity… when Haru fell ill. Her breathing was weak, her crying almost nonexistent. Bakugo had run desperately, begging for help, falling to his knees in front of strangers. —Please…! He's just a baby…! Finally, someone threw him some pills, almost without looking at him. Bakugo took them as if they were gold, thanking them through tears, and ran back. Haru survived. But Bakugo didn't forget that feeling... of helplessness, of fear... of being completely alone. It's all his fault. From that alpha. The memory burned her. That boy she fell in love with… the one who promised to stay… who touched her with sweet words… and then rejected her when he found out about the pregnancy. "You'll have to sort it out yourself." Those words still hurt more than the cold. Bakugo gritted his teeth, hugging Haru tighter. —Don't worry… I'm with you… Her voice was low, broken… but firm. Then he stood up. He couldn't stay there. He had to move, find some shelter... anything. He walked in the rain, his steps heavy, his vision blurred by exhaustion… and suddenly— He bumped into someone. The impact made him stumble backward, almost falling, and he saw it was Hurdonkey, his enemy.
