Homeworld: Ninjago Groups: Ghost Ninja Army (Ally) Weapons: Sanctuary Sword, Ghost Blades, Wind Element (formerly), Energy (in Lloyd's body; formerly) Status: Alive (Ghost) Morro is the main antagonist of Season 5, the deuteragonist of the Day of the Departed special, and the deuteragonist of Season 3 of Ninjago: Rise of the Dragons. The Master of Wind, a descendant of the first Master of Wind, he was discovered by Master Wu when he was a child and trained as Wu's first apprentice. After the Golden Weapons failed to choose him as the legendary green savior, he became determined to prove destiny wrong. He then abandoned Wu in search of his tomb. Morro died in the Caves of Despair, and his spirit was banished to the Cursed Realm as a result of his previous actions.

At the end of the Second Serpentine War, Morro escaped his imprisonment when Garmadon was banished to the Cursed Realm. Intending to find the Realm Crystal hidden in the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master, Morro possessed Lloyd, as only a Spinjitzu master could locate the tomb. After a long journey, Morro obtained the Crystal and freed the Preeminent to curse all sixteen realms. Morro battled Lloyd across the realms until the latter became lost among them. When Nya unlocked her True Potential and defeated the Preeminent, Morro was captured by one of her tentacles. A desperate Wu attempted to rescue him, but Morro gave him the Crystal. The Master of Wind then let go, fell into the water, and vanished.

Months after his death, a statue of Morro was placed in the Ninjago Museum of History as part of a new exhibit, the Hall of Villains. When Cole accidentally opened the Departed Realm using the Yin Blade, Morro's spirit escaped and possessed the statue in the museum. The villains chose the ninja on whom to exact revenge, but Morro chose not to kill Wu, but to warn him. Morro and Wu reunited with the ninja and revealed Yang's plan, while Morro's spirit peacefully returned to the Departed Realm.
