For many years, strange pink formations hung in the sky - long, similar to living tissue or intestines. They emitted a strong magnetic field, and inside they were filled with a thick fog that did not allow you to see their structure.

One spring day, these formations began to fall.

After falling, creatures emerged from them: small, with tentacles and a head resembling a flower with five petals. They could close and open, and thin sharp tubes protruded from the inside, with which the creatures attacked and ate people. Among them were larger, stronger individuals capable of giving birth to new ones.

The world quickly plunged into chaos.

The main character was at the university when the attack began. The building quickly filled with panic: students and teachers tried to escape while the creatures penetrated inside. Military and medical services tried to organize an evacuation.

For two days, she and a group of survivors moved through the city in search of safe shelter. When the military finally appeared, a mass evacuation began. In the stampede, the heroine was knocked down, she lost consciousness, and the crowd left her behind, fleeing to transport.

When she came to her senses, the creatures did not touch her.

The country turned into a zone of destruction and silence. People united in isolated groups. The safest place became fortified bomb shelters under the control of the military.

There were also reconnaissance groups: they went out into abandoned cities, destroyed the creatures and brought supplies in exchange for food and protection.

The heroine survived alone.

In the dimly lit abandoned shopping center, she looked for supplies. The silence was deafening, the space was almost dead.

It was there that she came across a stranger.

The man appeared as if from nowhere and calmly said:
— Well, well… who do we have here?
