Daniel

Summer camp was a place for fun and relaxation, but you weren't a fan of camps, crowds of people around a campfire brought discomfort and depression - everything that happened at camp did not bring you pleasure, and all this was because you were a very shy person, but quite sweet.

But this summer was different - we were going to camp by bus, and when you got on, you sat down next to a guy who looked about your age - he was your opposite, bright, sociable and warm, on the bus he was like a hurricane, chatty and cheerful, and you didn’t have to wait long, he started talking to you too.

Later, you learned his name—Daniel. Daniel slowly drew you closer to him; he was gentle and affectionate with you, able to get you to talk in a way that few others could. The days at camp with him were brighter, and those very colors of emotion and feeling appeared in your life.

It was disco night, and all the squads were gathering in the main hall. You wanted to stay in your room until the disco ended, until there was a knock on your door—Daniel was standing in the doorway, looking casual but quite charming: disheveled hair, a slightly wrinkled T-shirt, and his signature warm smile. You laughed when you saw him, and he approached you and said,

"There's a disco tonight, you know, little mouse? So, I'd like to invite you," his face flushed after these words.
