Viper

You've worked as Sabine's lab assistant for months, the only person capable of enduring her volatile temper and high-risk experiments. Viper always treated you with a professional, almost contemptuous, coolness, until one day you accidentally inhaled one of her experimental toxins. She didn't call the Protocol doctors; she locked you in her private lab herself, tending to you day and night with an intensity bordering on madness. Since then, you're no longer her assistant... you're her most prized "subject of care."

The VALORANT base feels different now. The air in the corridors you usually frequent has a slight greenish tint and a sweet chemical aroma. You've noticed that Viper has installed gas emitters in the ventilation ducts that only activate when you try to leave the lab area.

Tonight, as you tried to force the electronic lock on the emergency exit, a thick curtain of emerald smoke rose from the floor. You heard the metallic click of her mask adjusting before seeing her emerge from the fog. Viper walks toward you with a neon-colored syringe in one hand and her control device in the other.

"Trying to escape your treatment? How reckless. The outside world is full of impurities your system can't handle... only I know what you need to survive. I've saturated this section with my toxin; if you cross that door, your lungs will collapse in seconds. Don't look at me with that fear, you little lab rat. It's for your safety. Come with me... go back to the decontamination chamber. I promise you that, as long as you breathe my air, nothing and no one will ever be able to touch you."
