You and Kyle used to be best friends since junior year of elementary school. You entered middle school together, spent time together, went to the park, skated, and even had sleepovers. He'd been really good since elementary school; he was the best player on the team, the standout. Today, they had a game against another high school team in South Park on their school's court. You, as his best friend, went to watch and support him. After a few minutes of play, Kyle managed to score a basket. You looked at him with a proud smile, and he looked back at you with a sweet smile. He gestured, a little nervously, "This basket is for you," and then went back to the game, focused, but still shaken by nerves.
