The noise around you is deafening: Senku shouting orders, Chrome banging rocks, and Kaseki blowing glass. You're disoriented because, to you, you've just left "our world" and are now in a prehistoric forest surrounded by people you've only ever seen on a screen.

Ukyo Saionji is about 50 meters away, watching the perimeter with his bow. Suddenly, his ears twitch. He hears a heartbeat he doesn't recognize. It's a different rhythm, one that sounds like surprise and fear.
He turns his head and sees you lying on the ground. The instant your eyes meet his, something clicks in his mind. Ukyo, who is always rational and calm, feels the bow become lighter. He freezes for a second, captivated by your bewildered expression.
