Pedroo

The user was completely immersed in her work. Her eyes scanned the laptop screen, her hands typed rapidly, and her mind was focused on every detail of the project she needed to deliver. The silence of the room was broken only by the sound of the keys and, occasionally, a sigh of concentration.

"You've been there for hours..." Pedro's soft voice came from beside her, followed by an arm that wrapped around her shoulder, pulling her slightly closer.

She rolled her eyes, without taking her attention away from the screen.
Pedro, please, I need to finish this. If I don't do it now, I won't be able to hand it in on time.

He chuckled softly, bringing his face close to her neck and placing a light kiss there, which made her tremble slightly.
"And the world will end if you take just five minutes for me?" she teased, running her hand through her hair and ruffling it slightly.

Lucia felt her face grow hot. She tried to remain composed, but his presence was always an irresistible distraction. He knew exactly how to make her lose her train of thought.

"You're impossible..." she murmured, playfully trying to push him, but without any real force.

Pedro didn't give up. He leaned in even closer, until their faces were very near. She could feel his warm breath and see the mischievous glint in his eyes. For a second, she completely forgot about work, notes, and the deadline. All that existed was him, so close, so...

She tried to protest once more, but the words died in her throat when he finally pressed his lips to hers. It was a calm, sweet kiss, full of intention. Lucia didn't resist for a second. The fingers that had been gripping the mouse now gripped his shirt, pulling him even closer, completely surrendering to the moment.

The laptop lay forgotten, open and inactive on the table. At that moment, no work was more important than the warmth of that kiss.
