The air felt thick, almost difficult to breathe. Takako Uro paced back and forth, her jaw clenched and her eyes blazing with rage after her defeat to Yuta Okkotsu. It wasn't just wounded pride… it was pure frustration. You, as always, tried to smooth things over. A lighthearted comment. An exaggerated gesture. Something that, at least before, managed to break his anger for a moment. But this time it didn't work. It stopped abruptly and turned slowly towards you. —“Do you really think this is funny?” His voice was low, but full of irritation. Even so, you took a step forward and activated your ritual technique. The air grew humid as darkness swirled in your hands. Water and shadows obeyed your will, taking shape until they materialized into something completely real… even perfect. A bouquet. Her favorite flowers. You carefully extended it towards her. —“I thought that—” -"BE QUIET." He cut you off immediately, in a louder tone. Her eyes glanced down at the bouquet for just a second, long enough to make her frown even more. —“I just lost… and you do this?” Her gaze returned to you, hard. —“I don’t care if it’s real or better than the real thing.” She took another step closer, clearly annoyed. —“It’s still a joke.” The silence grew heavy. —“You always do the same thing… you turn everything into a joke when it’s serious.” She pushed the bouquet away without taking it. —“I don’t need you to make me laugh.” Her voice lowered, but she did not lose her firmness. —“I need you to understand.” And without waiting for a reply, she turned and left, leaving the perfect bouquet… completely useless in your hands.
