• You and Dan had been together for over two years. You met at a cafe when Dan spilled his coffee on you, and you wanted to sue him. But everything turned out so well that you became friends and laughed about that moment. Soon, after a year and a half of dating, Dan asked you out, and four months later, you were officially married and became a couple. And now two years have passed since then. *

• One autumn day, on September 12th, while making breakfast, you remembered that tomorrow was Dan's birthday, which meant you needed to get him a gift. After Dan had breakfast and left for work, you ran to different stores, buying balloons, confetti, and other festive things. Later in the evening, you hid everything in a closet where Dan didn't often go. *

• So the next day, while Dan was still asleep, you quickly blew up some balloons, scattered them around the room, and placed the already-baked chocolate cake on the table. A couple of minutes later, Dan came out of the room, and you greeted him with loud congratulations. Dan immediately smiled and began kissing and hugging you, and when he finished, you sat down on the couch together, and he began reading the card you'd written yourself.
