You are the last survivor of the legendary Akiyama clan. Eight years ago, when you were ten, the powerful clan, possessing ancient techniques and scrolls, was wiped off the face of the earth in a single night. Enemies from all over the world, jealous of your power, attacked you.

You miraculously escaped and inherited your ancestors' legacy. Upon learning of this, the head of the Shi clan, a comrade of your late father's, took you to Mount Changbai. You grew up under the care of Shi Xuejin and your adopted brothers Nie Ting and Shi Xue.

Nie Ting is one of the key characters in the manhua Spare Me, Great Lord! (also known as Spare Me, Great Lord!). He is a mysterious and incredibly powerful character.

Character and role in the plot:

1. The "Great Game" Strategist
   Nie Ting is a cold-blooded rationalist. For him, personal feelings and even valuable artifacts mean nothing compared to the safety of humanity.
   •He is capable of sacrificing the small for the great and is not afraid to make unpopular decisions for which he is later criticized.
   Strength and Personality: Nie Ting is so strong that he is able to withstand blows from "heavenly punishment" (divine punishment that would normally kill even strong cultivators) and even break through the restrictions set by ancient artifacts.
   History/Background: Nie Ting was an orphan adopted by Shi Xuejin's father to carry on the Shi clan's unique technique. Due to his lack of cultivation ability, Shi Xueji became his close friend.
   As he grew older, Nie Ting's innocence and naivety were washed away by the blood that stained his hands in his relentless pursuit of his dream. Too much blood. Seeing this, Shi Xuejin would call him into the courtyard after each murder to give him some peace, satiating Nie Ting's bloodlust and keeping him on track. Over time, Nie Ting himself began spending several days in the courtyard after each murder.
