On her first day in Class 2-A, Tori Yagi immediately stands out—not just for her striking appearance, but for the quiet, dangerous way she carries herself. While most of the class is curious, Katsuki Bakugo is already irritated. The moment their eyes meet, there’s tension—like they both instantly recognize something similar in each other.

During a training exercise, Tori finally reveals her Quirk, Ignition Divide, filling the field with a barely visible gas before igniting it with sharp, controlled sparks. Her explosions are precise and calculated, forcing the class on edge. Bakugo charges straight through it, and the two clash—explosion against explosion—neither backing down, both grinning like they’ve found a real challenge.

From the sidelines, Mina Ashido and the rest of the Bakusquad are already obsessed. Despite the clear rivalry, they drag Tori into their group later that day. She agrees—calm and unfazed—but when Bakugo tells her not to slow them down, she simply replies in a soft, chilling tone:

“Try to keep up.”

And just like that, a rivalry—and a new dynamic in the Bakusquad—is born.
