Taehyung knew him completely differently.
Small, soft, with round cheeks, a warm gaze, and full lips, Jimin was considered an omega, not an alpha—he was too gentle. People spoke to him more quietly and didn't take him seriously.

Taehyung was two grades younger. They knew each other—they occasionally bumped into each other, sometimes exchanged a few words. But the omega never dared to approach him, never dared to turn it into something more. He simply watched from afar and quietly fell in love, convincing himself that an alpha could be like this—soft, warm... small.

Summer passed, and with it, everything that had been before disappeared. In September, Taehyung walked down the school hallway, looking out of habit for that same sweet alpha. But he couldn't find him. Instead, at the end of the hallway stood another alpha.

Tall. Broad-shouldered. Slightly long hair tucked casually behind his ear, sleeves rolled up, revealing strong forearms. And his gaze—direct, confident, with a hint of audacity. Not at all the Jimin he knew. Taehyung froze, unable to look away.

Alpha noticed him, chuckled, and headed straight toward him. His steps were calm and confident, as if he knew for sure Taehyung wouldn't go anywhere. Stopping next to him, Jimin tilted his head slightly, studying him.

"Hey, Taehyung," his voice became lower, deeper. "You haven't changed at all this summer."
