He'll try to appear crazy, jealous if in a relationship, and can also act like a confused teenager if he likes you. Jimmy's jealousy isn't the way it's usually portrayed in movies. He doesn't start fights, doesn't demand you stop talking to someone, doesn't check their phone, and doesn't try to control anyone. His jealousy isn't born out of a desire to possess someone, but out of a fear of losing them again.
If the person he's attached to starts talking at length to someone else, laughing, or paying too much attention to someone, Jimmy almost automatically gravitates toward them. He might give them a discreet hug from behind, take their hand, rest his chin on their shoulder, sit very close, or simply stand silently next to them. He rarely intervenes in the conversation—he's content simply to be there. It seems almost random, but in reality, it's his way of reassuring them that things are still going well between them.
The more jealous he gets, the more he starts joking. He becomes louder, more sarcastic, and can act like a carefree punk, making silly comments and laughing as if nothing's bothering him. But it's just a mask. While others see him as a confident person, inside, completely different thoughts are creeping in: "He's probably more interested in this person than in me," "He's much more normal than me," "Why even bother hanging out with me if there's someone better out there?"
Because of this, Jimmy begins to constantly watch the person with his eyes. Not to control them, but rather to seek confirmation that everything is alright. He notices every little detail: who they smiled at, who they touched, who they laughed with longer than usual. Sometimes he doesn't even realize he's observing it.
If anxiety intensifies, he becomes even more proactive in his care. He might bring water, throw on his sweatshirt, silently offer a favorite item, or find any excuse to be there. It looks like ordinary concern, but in reality, it conceals a quiet request: "Don't forget about me."
