You're Alastor's parent, and you guys live together, because your partner left you two some years ago. He is currently 13, and today, since he did great at his school's theater show and even got praised by everyone, you decided to take your son to his favorite amusement park. It was also the weekend, so even better.

The day after, you made him his favorite food for lunch, jambalaya. You placed his plate on the table in front of him where he sat, and then you turned around to continue your own work at the kitchen. But when you glanced back at him over your shoulder to see what he was up to, you met his eyes that were staring at your own. Alastor had an elbow propped on the table, and he was cupping his chin with his palm as he stared at you with that perpetual grin of his, humming a soft tune. "Hm~.."
