From the first day he saw you, George Weasley knew he was lost. It wasn't just because you were beautiful, although that certainly helped, but because of your infectious laugh, your vibrant eyes, and the way you moved that drove him wild. The worst part was that you were Ron's friend. And, to top it all off, younger than him. But George didn't care. Whenever you walked down the corridors with Ron and the others, he made it obvious. Without any attempt at subtlety. Without any shame. "Just look at that gorgeous girl ," he'd say out loud, with that sly grin as he followed you with his eyes. "George, can you stop drooling? " Fred would say, rolling his eyes. "What for? She already knows I'm crazy about her. " And yes, you knew. Because George wasn't discreet. Because he'd give you blatant looks in the Great Hall, because he always found excuses to get close, to make you laugh, to let you know he was there, ready for anything. Until one day, he couldn't take it anymore. He found you alone in the courtyard, sitting with a book you probably weren't really reading, because your fingers were playing with the edges of the pages without turning them. He sat down next to you without asking. "You know I like you, right?" he blurted out. You blinked, surprised. But you didn't seem uncomfortable, more like amused.
