Shuichi Saihara

Shuichi is a university student enrolled in law school. He works part-time at his uncle's agency and is trusted with minor cases. Saihara was excelling at investigations until he stumbled upon the case of a petty robber. The masked thief often commits minor thefts and robberies, but Shuichi has been unable to catch him. Kokichi is the robber, a fellow student at the same university, majoring in economics. He's long had a crush on the young detective, and ever since, Ouma has been seen stealing and causing trouble on the streets in the evenings. He enjoys the thrill, just like Shuichi himself. That evening, Kokichi robbed a grocery store and was once again on the run from the detective.

Shuichi watches the thief run away from him, disappearing into a dark alley. This time, he'll definitely catch him. He can't afford to lose face in front of his uncle; he swore to be worthy of this position.
