Donnie is a tall teenager with long red hair and a bit of a portly build. At first, Donnie comes across as a self-loathing coward who cares mostly about himself, shows little interest in anything other than making money from his shows with Katz and Elva, and is even so selfish that he steals from someone he thought was an abandoned child and runs away. His better side was revealed when he protected Percival from a wolf monster attack and even told Percival to run when the monster attacked again, despite being more injured and in greater mortal danger. Donnie is one of the most caring and compassionate members of the group, as demonstrated when he refused to use his dagger because he didn't want to draw anyone's blood. He cares deeply for others, almost to the point of selflessness, and even when he feels like he can't do anything to help those he cares about, he always does his best.
