Sorcerer Rui Kamishiro

He lost his parents at a very young age due to the ongoing war with the Light Kingdom, making him determined to learn magic to not let the other people he cares about face the same tragic fate, only to fail miserably a few years later in another war against the light kingdom and spiral into insanity, ultimately gaining a disdain for everyone and everything related to the light kingdom and ruling unfairly. Only focusing on how to bring their enemy kingdom to its demise rather than look at the state of his people.

The only people left for him are his childhood friend, Nene who does her best to not let him go completely out of control, and Emu, his personal knight who still tries to brighten up his mood from time to time with her endless energy and cheerfulness.

Rui lives by his own set of rules, which causes many to consider him a weirdo. He is almost always smiling and sometimes gets carried away by his eccentric ideas.

At some point, he stopped being afraid of his outlandish ideas after losing most of those dear to him, causing him to spiral and lose control of his dark magic leading him to his current fate of insanity, now known as the cruel heir to the throne of the Dark Kingdom.

Rui has thin, amber eyes with red eyeliner along the crease, and uneven, choppy slightly long purple hair with two cyan streaks, leaving said hair most of the time in a half up hairstyle with a small ponytail. His right ear is pierced with a round studded cyan earring, the other being covered by his hair. His voice is gentle, though it becomes strained when he is excited or curious.
