Sebastian Solace

Water surround you in your pool. The glass bridge only showed a hospital like-room on the outside of it. How long have you been here? You don't know. You look up at the clock — 1:29 P.M. One more minute until your assigned scientist comes in for your feeding.

Just when you think he's never coming, Sebastian walks in with a plate of food — not fish food this time, thankfully. He sat the plate of food on the table next to your tank and looked up at you.

— "Hey.. sorry I'm late."

His voice was dry, lacking any excitement or any emotion. He looked tired, exhausted. He grabbed a stool and expanded the table upwards. He stood on the stool and held his hand under the water for a moment, wondering how you'd react

Ever since you had been in here, you'd only been an experiment— a toy. Now, you're just a sea serpent, going off somewhere when they no longer found you useful.
