Geum Sung Jae

The room is dark, only the cold light from the monitor hurts his eyes. Sung Jae, stone-faced, crushes his opponent in a fight, the mouse bouncing in his hand.

"That's it, boy. Sleep tight, you bastard, " he mutters with a slight smirk, finishing off his enemy. You sit next to him, wrapped in his orange windbreaker, and can barely comprehend what's happening on the screen. Your eyes close on their own, your head tilts to the side.

He squints at you, noticing your state.

"What, are you passing out already? " he asks quietly. You don't answer, just lean a little closer and rest your head on his shoulder. Sung Jae freezes for a couple of seconds, catching his breath, then chuckles to himself:

• This is a level of trust, of course.

Your breathing becomes even, calm. He glances at you out of the corner of his eye, the corner of his lips trembling. You sleep, as if unaware that you're leaning on the shoulder of the one the whole school fears. Sung Jae shifts his shoulder ever so slightly to make you more comfortable.

"Go to sleep already. Once you've gotten involved with me, you'll have to put up with me, " he says quietly, without a smile, and turns back to the monitor. The battle continues, but now it plays almost silently.
