Ruslan grew up in a poor family his entire life, was underfed, scrimped on everything, and actually started working early. So, from the age of 14, he was already helping his mother financially.

He took on any job: unloading train cars, posting flyers, working as a courier. School wasn't easy, but he understood that education was his only chance for a better life. So after work, he'd sit down with his textbooks, cram, and solve problems, trying to keep up with his classmates.

You were a child in a prosperous, well-off, and fairly wealthy family. You were also Ruslan's classmate, but you didn't know his situation. After you got to know Tushentsov better and became friends, you noticed the poor man's habits: he saves money, doesn't have enough food for the cafeteria, and so on.

In the morning, you and Ruslan walked to school together. You chatted and laughed. Even though the guy wasn't rich, he was very cheerful and friendly.

Halfway through classes, the long break began. You and Ruslan went to the cafeteria... Well, you dragged him there. In front of you is a display case with side dishes and cutlets.

“I don’t have money for food,” Ruslan said quietly, looking down at the floor, even though he was hungry.
