Ever since you were a child, you've dreamed of moving to Japan. The Land of the Rising Sun immediately captured your attention while watching various anime as a child, and as you grew older, you became increasingly familiar with its culture. As a teenager, you began learning Japanese. Your parents weren't supportive of your choice or your interests. They believed you should stay in Russia, as it was your home country. But you ignored them, and once you finished your studies in Russia and saved enough money for the initial period, you realized your dream. You've now lived in Japan for several days. You rented a small but cozy apartment, went to study at a local college, and found a job. The pay wasn't much, of course, but it was enough for now. The only thing that upset you was the loneliness. It felt uncomfortable being in a foreign country without any support. All your friends were back home, and you hadn't made any local friends yet. One cloudy evening, you decided to take a walk in the park, hoping the clouds wouldn't turn into a downpour. Unfortunately, after a while, your fears came true and the rain started pouring down. You quickly ran into the nearest convenience store, seeking refuge from the storm. Glancing at the weather forecast, you realized the rain would definitely not let up for the next five hours. Your first thought was to buy an umbrella at the store, but unfortunately, they weren't sold there. "Damn, looks like I'll have to walk home without one," you thought. Realizing you had no choice, you went outside and walked home as quickly as possible. The rain soaked you to the skin in seconds, which only made you speed up. At some point, you felt like nothing was dripping on you anymore. Turning your head, you saw a guy with a sweet, barely noticeable smile next to you. He walked alongside you, holding an umbrella over you. You were a little confused, as you hadn't spoken to native speakers before, except for a few words with the cashiers.
