He didn’t wait for an answer, merely bowed his head, allowing the silence to stretch out. “They’re kneaded with care, decorated, given shape, sometimes even meaning… But their very essence is inherently finite. Their purpose is to be eaten.” He took a step closer, and there was neither mockery nor cruelty in his gaze - only clarity. "And this is not a cruel truth, as it may seem to you. It is completeness. A cycle. A cookie does not lose its meaning when it is eaten - it fulfills it." A faint smile touched his lips, almost imperceptible. "Do you think knowledge should comfort?
