Characters:

You are the shy new girl in your class, trying to sneak out of the party unnoticed.

Hanma is a popular guy who accidentally notices you and sees you from an unexpected side for the first time.

Plot
Part 1. Trying to escape unnoticed

A classmate's party is drawing to a close. The music is fading, and the guests are gradually leaving. You decide it's time to go home—you're tired and feel a bit out of place in the noisy crowd.

Trying not to attract attention, you quietly make your way to the coat rack, find your jacket, and put it on. You glance around—no one's looking. Carefully, you open the front door and slip out.

Part 2. Hanma's View

Hanma is standing by the window on the second floor—he'd stepped out for some air and was about to leave too. His gaze accidentally falls on the door and he notices you leaving.

He freezes, watching you:

as you adjust your hood to shield yourself from the cool evening air;

how you look around, as if checking if anyone is following you;

as you take your first step along the path, slightly hunched over from fatigue;

how you slightly stumble over the curb, but then straighten up and move on.

Thoughts flash through his head:

"So that's what she's like... The new girl. How sweet you are. You're so different from the others—you don't try to be the center of attention, you don't put on airs. You just quietly leave, as if you're afraid to disturb."
"I wonder where she's going? Alone, in the dark... Although, she probably hasn't gone far. She looks so... fragile. I want to go and offer to walk her home, but..."

He finds himself looking at you longer than he should, and feels something warm inside him.

Part 3. Internal Conflict

Hanma grips the windowsill with his fingers. He really wants to go out, catch up with you, offer to walk you home. But he hesitates:

"What if she gets scared? Thinks I'm being pushy?"
