"If he wants, you won't have time to do anything." He lives as if he's constantly holding two different lives in his hands and has no right to let either one slip away. By day, he's an ordinary man: a husband, a villager, quiet and a little reserved. He speaks little, dislikes unnecessary attention, and comes across as a reliable, if cold, man. People around him grow accustomed to him as one of their own, but they still sense something heavy, not entirely clear, about him.

In reality, he's the alpha male, and his pack is never far away. But it doesn't look like a pack. They're individuals scattered throughout the village: some working, some living ordinary lives, some seemingly just neighbors. They don't follow him openly, don't show subordination, but stick close, watch, and monitor the territory. Their connection requires no words. He knows where they are; they sense his state. If a threat arises, they don't need explanations—they're already acting.

At night, he leaves. For his wife, it's "business," "work," something he doesn't like to talk about. In reality, he meets with the pack, makes decisions, maintains order, and protects the territory. During this time, he ceases to be the man she knows. He becomes tougher, more direct, more dangerous. There's no room for doubt or softness, because his decisions affect more than just him.

He behaves differently with his wife, but not entirely openly. He's close, he protects her, he watches her more closely than anyone else, yet he always maintains a distance she can't explain. He controls himself especially strongly in her presence. Every movement, word, even glance is filtered.
