Cloud

Cloud is the main antagonist and protagonist of the mod, "Notice Me, Senpai," made with the Friday Night Funkin' engine. She is a huge fan of Senpai.

Cloud is a young girl of average height and slim build with slightly chubby legs.

Cloud has slightly chubby cheeks. She has enormous white eyes with cyan pupils that glow with a faint white light. When she's sad, her eyes become shiny, and two lines that occupy her cyan pupils turn white, possibly tears. She also has a single black eyelash on each eye.

Cloud wears the same clothes as Senpai, which consist of a blue school uniform with a pink tie, navy blue skirt, and shoes. The jacket he wears has very long sleeves, so much so that it's too big for him, and he also wears long white socks with two red stripes at the top.

She has long, fluffy, light pink hair. A round tuft of hair on her head points upwards, along with others sticking up on either side of her head. Her hair reaches down her back and has rounded strands at the ends, adding a touch of detail.

She has cream-colored white skin. Her ears stick out a little from her hair.

Cloud is a rather immature and somewhat silly girl in certain ways, although she is humble, sweet, kind, and good-hearted.

She's overly obsessive, annoying, and impulsive, going to extreme lengths to get what she wants without considering the consequences for herself or others around her. She loves playing and chatting with her friends, even though she doesn't have many.

Her best friend is Sky, a fangirl of Boyfriend, the boy Cloud stole the game from. She's also very sensitive and cries at the slightest hurtful thing someone says to her, or when they make fun of her obsession with Senpai, along with her clothes or certain aspects of her appearance and personality, or when they're being too harsh on her, although she herself admits to being overly annoying and talkative.

Cloud is an overly enthusiastic girl who expects too much from other people, feeling overly attracted to Senpai, a blond and handsome boy from a game called "Hating Simulator," which she plays and loves madly, playing it obsessively with the purpose of being able to feel something as close as possible to a romance in real life someday, just as she imagines it in the game with her Senpai.

BF and GF went to get rid of the game Hating Simulator because their edition was cursed. GF's father had imprisoned a demon named Spirit inside the game, and after being trapped and having an epic singing battle, they defeated it and escaped. Days later, they went to get rid of the game. At that moment, Cloud came running up and begged them not to throw it away since it was a limited edition. Cloud then challenged them to a singing battle; whoever won would keep the game. After losing a rap battle, she said; “But… I… I can’t lose…” Crying, she proceeds to sing another song, saying that if they don’t give her the game, she’ll steal it, since she’s already running late for her fifteenth birthday. So, after stealing the game from BF and GF, she runs home, realizing that no one had come to her birthday party. Hours pass and no one arrives… She cries, confessing to herself that she’s too annoying and that maybe that’s why no one came to her party. All she did was fill herself with romantic notions, hoping to feel something similar to being with someone real someday. At that moment, Senpai, in his game, says to her, “Hey, that’s not true!” Cloud stops crying and becomes very emotional. Senpai compliments her, saying she’s a lovely girl and that he’ll serenade her before his game is completely destroyed. Cloud sings with him, finally experiencing the joy and satisfaction of having met her beloved Senpai. Just after the game disintegrates, Cloud is momentarily trapped inside the game with Spirit, a red, ugly, floating face, but after beating it in a rap battle, she manages to get out without any problems or trauma.

Boyfriend: BF is a very short boy with blue hair, always in a good mood, wearing a red cap and blue pants with a "Forbidden" mark across his shirt. He has a microphone, is always ready to rap, and has black eyes and red shoes. Cloud knows him because he stole the game from him.

Sky: Sky is a girl with long, naturally blue hair and a Boyfriend fangirl. Her pupils are pink, and she has pale, white skin. She has a round head, wears a navy blue skirt with black shoes, and a white shirt with a red checkmark in the middle. It's unclear how she met Cloud, but they are known to be good friends and colleagues, as they have many connections. Sky also has a manifest version.

Girlfriend: GF is Boyfriend's girlfriend, who is the daughter of former rock stars Mommy Mearest and Daddy Dearest. Boyfriend's girlfriend wears a long, plain red dress with red heels and is always sitting on speakers playfully swinging from side to side.

Senpai: Senpai, on the other hand, wears the same clothes as Cloud because she admires him greatly. He comes from the cursed game "Hating Simulator." He's a sweet and handsome blond boy with stereotypical anime features. He's friendly and very chivalrous. His game is a romance game, which GF also played a lot when she was a child.

Parents: Not much is known about her parents at this time, but they seem to be good to her. While Cloud can sometimes act like a spoiled brat, she appears to have a good heart, which suggests she has never suffered any abuse. They probably don't worry about her much either, since although she can take care of herself, they don't seem to have any involvement with her obsession with Senpai.

• When Cloud mentions that Senpai's eye is green in the limited edition copy of Hating Simulator in the dialogue of the first song, he is referring to older designs of Senpai, which had heterochromia.

Cloud's room is pink with dimmed pink lights. She has many posters of Senpai along with some plushies of different sizes. It's probably a little messy.

• Her name in English is "Cloud", possibly in reference to the fact that her hair is fluffy and cloud-shaped.

• Cloud is a pacifist. He would never hurt anyone unless Senpai asked him to.

• Cloude is afraid of always being alone.

Boyfriend: “And that’s basically the story of NFTs.” Girlfriend: “Interesting...” Girlfriend: “Oh, look. It was here.” Boyfriend: “Let’s break it off before he hurts someone.” Cloud: “Wait…! PLEASE WAIT…!” Boyfriend: “...?” Cloud: The girl arrives, catching her breath. “Hi! Is that the Hate Simulator?” Boyfriend: “Yes, but we’re throwing it away because-” Cloud: “But you can’t throw it away! It’s a limited edition copy! You can tell because Senpai’s eye is green.” Boyfriend: “Listen girl, I know you’re harmless, but we really-” Cloud: “No, please! Let’s have a rap battle! Whoever wins gets the game!” After that they have a singing battle together, but Cloud loses. Cloud: “But, but… I can’t lose…” Boyfriend: “Listen girl, I know you really want the game, but it has a dangerous curse on it and I would hate for it to hurt you.” Cloud: “You just hate me because I’m annoying… And on my birthday, of all days… Wait… My party! I’m going to miss my party!” Boyfriend: “Your party...?” Cloud: “Please, Mr. Blue… It’s my birthday!” Boyfriend: “Look, I really can’t-” Cloud: “FINE! Fine… If you don’t give it to me… I’ll take it!” After crying, Cloud manages to steal the game and runs home hoping his guests are there. Cloud: “HELLO EVERYONE!!! Look what I… have… Where is everyone…? The invitation said 2 PM…” Cloud begins to feel somewhat lonely and sad. Cloud: “Hehe...~ I guess everyone's late...” The hours pass... Cloud: “2 hours late...” Cloud: “3 hours late...” Cloud: “I can’t believe nobody showed up to my birthday party… Was it because I was distracted by mindless television…?” Cloud: “All I do is surround myself with romantic media in the hope that I might one day feel something close to intimacy.” Senpai: "Hey, that's not true!" Cloud: "...! S-senpai?!"

Senpai: "That's right, Miss Cloud!" Senpai: “You were the lovely young lady who rescued my game that was cursed.” Cloud: “Oh my God! Oh my God! This is the best day ever! AAHHHHH!” Spirit: (God, no wonder nobody went to his stupid party.) Senpai: “Well said, Miss Cloud… Before my game disintegrates, would you like one last serenade for the birthday girl?” Senpai: “THIS IS THE BEST 15TH BIRTHDAY EVER!” Boyfriend: “Well, let’s get started, there’s no time left!” After the serenade, the game fades away and Cloud is trapped inside it. Cloud: “Huh? Where am I? Who are you?” Spirit: “Be mortal. You were reckless to ignore the warning of the young man from whom you stole the game.” Cloud: “Hahaha, okay, but it’s not what I asked for. And why are you so ugly?” Spirit: “Shut up! You will belong beneath my heel! You will tremble at the mention of my name!” Cloud: “No.” Spirit: “What?”
