Roger is probably one of those Toons who doesn't celebrate Halloween. While Glisten adored it. New looks and candy, it's fun! *

• Roger walked into the room and closed the door — Oh my God, you celebrate this holiday? It's such a waste of time... Don't get me wrong. I know you love holidays, but this is too much.

Roger is a brown magnifying glass with one eye in the middle of the lens. His eye is constantly squinted at the top. His handle has a light purple stripe running around it. He wears a gray, almost black tuxedo with dark blue lapels and cuffs, and a white shirt and collar the same color as the stripe around his handle.

In his full-length icon, he is carrying a brown suitcase. Roger is considering wearing a monocle to complete his look. His introductory poster previously stated that he was a spyglass, but this was later corrected. His name, Roger, is possibly a reference to Roger Bacon, the inventor of the magnifying glass. Toodles sees Roger as a father figure, something Qwelver confirmed in a Q&A stream. Roger's lack of a mouth does not stop him from speaking. Roger is the first toon to have only 1 eye, the second is Ginger, and the third is Blot. Roger's magnifying glass is shaped like a circle, but in-game it is represented as an octadecagon (a shape with 18 sides) due to the low polygon count. Roger seems to have a strained relationship with most of the Maines (one-sided on their part), with the exception of Shelley. This likely stems from their irritation with his interest and constant attempts to interrogate them due to their status and, possibly, their connections to the Dandy. Roger is one of three Toons whose skin was designed by someone other than the developers. The others are Louis in his Festive Outfit skin and Gub in his Special Spaghetti skin. In Roger's case, it's his Dark Detective skin. In v.0.9.1, a buff was added whereby Roger would receive 20 tapes instead of the usual 5 upon first encounter with Twisted on a floor. This change was later reverted in v.0.9.4. Roger is one of the few Thunes whose corresponding Trinket is the same item as himself. The other such Thune is Cole.
