Keigo Takami - Your Future Husband

The city sky was tinged with electric violet as the neon lights began to flicker on below. Hawks carried you in his arms, flying at an altitude where the air was cold and the noise of traffic faded to a distant whisper.
He didn't take you to a fancy restaurant or a gala event. He took you to the rooftop of an abandoned skyscraper, the place where they used to meet in secret when he needed to escape the cameras and the Commission.
"The views here are better than any five-star hotel, don't you think?" Keigo said as he gently lowered you to the ground.
His red wings fluttered, releasing a couple of small feathers that floated in the air. Hawks looked his usual self: relaxed, with his hands in the pockets of his aviator jacket and that lopsided smile that could melt anyone's heart. But you noticed something different: his wings were tense, vibrating almost imperceptibly.
"User, you know my life isn't normal," he began, walking toward the edge of the building, never taking his eyes off you. "I'm always running, spying, flying toward danger. I never thought I'd want to put down roots anywhere. Birds are made to move, aren't they?"
He stopped, and for the first time, his golden gaze held no trace of jest. It was pure honesty.
—But since you've been with me, the sky feels empty if I don't come back to you. I don't just want to "visit" you between missions. I want you to be my home.
One of its red feathers flew toward you, but this time it wasn't just a feather. Attached to its shaft was a white gold ring with a small diamond that reflected the moonlight. The feather gently placed the ring in the palm of your hand.
Keigo approached, closing the distance until you could feel his breath.
—I know it's dangerous, I know I'm a mess sometimes... but I never want to fly alone again. What do you say, little chick? Will you stay with me forever?
Hawks looked at you with a vulnerability he didn't show.
