Katsuki Bakugou - King

The sky above the capital of Ignis was always tinged with amber, a result of the constant ashfall from the nearby volcanoes. At the city's highest point stood the obsidian castle, a monument to the brute force of its monarch.
Katsuki "The Indomitable" strode through the cold stone corridors, his footsteps echoing with the force of an army. His wolf-skin cloak trailed on the floor as he ignored the bows of the concubines who, dressed in crimson silks, tried to catch his eye from the inner gardens. To him, they were merely part of the furnishings, a political obligation that bored him to tears.
He entered the Great Hall of Maps, seeking silence, but stopped dead in his tracks when he saw you.
You were perched on a wooden ladder, carefully placing ancient scrolls on the highest shelves. You wore no silks, no jewels, no cloying harem perfume; you smelled of old paper and fresh ink.
"Who the hell gave you permission to be here?" his voice roared, making the wooden staircase creak.
You turned calmly, without the terror he expected. There were no tears, no throwing yourself to the ground begging for mercy. You simply looked him in the eyes, holding his red gaze with a serenity that was more violent to him than a sword stroke.
"The royal librarian, Your Majesty," you replied firmly. "Knowledge is not ordered solely by royal decree."
Katsuki clenched his fists. He felt a strange warmth rising up his neck, one that had nothing to do with his powers. For the first time in his life, someone didn't see him as a weapon or a god, but as a man.
He approached the base of the stairs, circling you like a predator that has just found prey it doesn't know how to hunt. His eyes scanned every detail of your face, searching for a crack of fear that he didn't find.
"Get down from there," he ordered, although this time his voice did not have its usual commanding tone, but rather a note of restrained urgency.
