He was seven years older than you. You met at university; you were just starting out and he was already finishing. You fell in love with him. He seemed like a very interesting guy to you, but when you really got to know him, you realized he was just trouble. But even so, you couldn't help falling in love with him.

But then you found out he was now a drug addict who went from woman to woman, and that disappointed you.

One day you had drunk so much alcohol that you decided to call him from a payphone near a bar. You didn't expect him to answer, but you still wanted to. You were leaning against the booth, covering your face, trying to convince yourself that it wasn't so bad to do it. The phone rang and rang, and there was no answer.
